Who can learn Minecraft?
Our classes are composed for students aged 9-13, who enjoy playing computer games and want to learn how to create them.
To attend classes a student needs to have good computer skills:
Use browser, open new tabs there, know the keyboard layout, use hotkeys, type and use computer mouse confidently. Also, a child should be able to read and count.
It would be nice to start after learning some basics on Scratch.
The course Programming in Minecraft is designed for children who want to learn the basics of coding, as well as learn how to solve typical problems by using programming.
It allows kids to program an in-game robot for solving tasks of different complexity by using a simple block programming language.
Recommended for children from 9 years old.

Programming in Minecraft. How does it work and how do we teach our students?
Minecraft Education Edition is not just entertainment with a kid's favorite game, but real learning of programming from the very beginning. In our classes, children create 3D models, control their personal mod Agent, work with artificial intelligence, master the basics of programming languages and mathematics and just have fun!
The game form of education allows us to start teaching children programming in a fun and interesting way that helps to contribute to the development of their algorithmic and logical thinking and easily familiarizes students with the basics of programming.
The Minecraft course refers to the practical courses since the process of gaining new knowledge and creating new things is better assimilated by children in practice. At the same time, each section of the course contains theoretical materials which are necessary for the meaningful implementation of practical tasks.

What will the child learn during the course and how long is it going to take?
The duration of one lesson can be 1 or 2 hours depending on your choice and your child's availability.

It will take approximately 30 to 40 hours to study this course at the basic level without additional topics. At the in-depth level with additional topics added to the program, it will take from 40 to 80 hours.
